Don’t beat yourself up! I totally understand the complexities of being a wife, mother and loosing yourself. I would suggest adding one good habit to your day. Depending on how much time you have. Try one of these. I’d say workout, make sure you put on a little makeup, meditate for 10 minutes before the kids wake up. Anything that gives you time alone. Sometimes for me it doesn’t happen until the end of the day when I take a bath with a glass of wine and write in my journal. Writing helps you get it out. Our children are better off when we take care of ourselves first. I know it may sound selfish but doesn’t the flight attendant even tell you to put your oxygen mask on first???
