Looking for the perfect brunch spot? Do you want to tantalize your tastebuds, sip on a cocktail, all while overlooking the city of Los Angles? Then you must try Perch! Perch LA is located on the rooftop of a New York style building in Downtown Los Angeles. This French inspired restaurant, and resting place for the hip and trendy, offers beautiful panoramic views of the city that will make you feel as though you are floating among the clouds. Perch offers two outdoor fireplaces, various fire pits, a lounge, and table seating both indoors and out. Serving brunch until 4pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, this spot makes for a restful weekend!
The menu is French inspired and has an array of breakfast treats. Personally, I loved the Crab Benedict, but my girlfriend said that the Shrimp Scampi was most tasty. We also indulged in (yes the gluten) the warm bread basket which included delicious scones, one of my guilty pleasures. Of course, we washed it all down with their fabulous drinks. I appropriately had the WRITERS BLOCK, which consists of Grey Goose; a Poire, St. Germain, lemon and a splash of sparkling wine. Try it and let me know your favorite cocktails as well!
