St. Tropez: An Iconic Escape

One could say the sun really does shine brighter in the Mediterranean and that St. Tropez is the heart of the French Riviera. Maybe that’s just the effect of the chilled rosé going to your head while enjoying long leisurely lunches at Club 55, Bagatelle, or Aquoi Plage. OR one could argue that it was once a playground to the iconic bombshell, Brigit Bardot, who transformed the peaceful fishing village into a sizzling jet-set favorite overnight, and the rest is history. Either way, this provincial seaside town enchants you with its historical charm, picturesque port filled with yachts that resemble spaceships, and tourists who  flock to admire them and the local artists. With the umbrella pine tress shaping the cliffs, homes nestled on the hillside and the fresh weekend market in the place de lice, St. Tropez is the place to see and be seen! If you want to flock to this glamorous hot spot when its buzzing then you should go in July and August. However, know that you will party like a celebrity and be spending money like one too! A little hint, St. Tropez is great in May, June and September, too. Off season can be surprisingly charming and romantic!

As The days wind down with a warm sunset glow this provincial town shifts to its vibrant nightlife of cocktails, sexy lounges and great cuisine. Celeb spotting at the hottest club Les Caves du Roy, located in the hottest hotel in town, the Byblos, is a must. For great gourmet cuisine do not miss Cristina’s, Le Caprice De Deux, Brasserie Des Arts, and Hotel Ermitage! Ladies and Gents, I’d get packing those fashionable totes and be sure they are filled with ensembles to dress the part!
